Job Purpose:
To ensure successful management of Service Delivery department programs to meet its obligations by delivering timely & reliable cost, change and risk data by proper cost control, estimation, change & risk management activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manages and controls department budget, including the work done by department consultants and contractors.
Develops and maintains Operating Expense (OPEX) estimate, liaises, if required with independent Chartered Quantity Surveying firms.
Develops & prepares cost reports, ad-hoc reports and KPIs that include updates of the status of costs, highlights trends and forecasts outturn cost projections.
Manages change, payment and final account processes for the department including consultant and contractors.
Ensures effective risk identification and management of risks within the Service Delivery department.
Anticipate issues and lead effective risk review meetings.
Maintains an up-to-date risk register in ARM with appropriate level of detail that clearly communicates the risk status and is useful to the various team members.
Ensures that viable timely risk treatment plans are in place.
Liaises with other Qatar Rail Risk Specialists regarding common risk issues and mitigations actions.
Provides effective and efficient reporting of Risk Management within the Service Delivery department including any monthly and/or ad-hoc reporting to senior management.
Fosters a working environment that promotes a risk learning culture consistent with Enterprise, Business Function, Program and Projects objectives and values, including the training and development of staff.
