We are looking for Sr. Architect for Engineering Consultant office in Qatar with the following qualification and experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Engineering and Consultancy and have good experience in Gulf area.
Fluent in English
BSc. Degree in Architectural Engineering from well reputable University.
Job Description:
Work with the Project Managers in the management of the architectural discipline for the assigned project package(s).
Development of design presentation drawings and documents.
Development of design phase deliverables.
Development of submittal documents to local authorities.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure incorporation of all design requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Work with the Company Management in procurement of consultancy services and contractors selection.
Manage design conformity with the agreed project requirements, budget, company standards, and code compliance and administer design changes where necessary.
Review of preliminary project design concepts and schematics, drawings and specifications, calculations, alternatives and value engineering.
Monitoring construction / implementation for conformity with approved design, including detailed scheduling and coordination, management of inspections, administration of construction changes, advised on progress claims, completion certificates, management of warranty work, management of testing and commissioning, operating manuals and record documentation.
Develops, modifies, and reviews production drawings and construction documents.
Develops solutions for technical problems.
Respond to construction phase RFIs and design clarification.
Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the architecture team.
Monitor and ensure that constructability, maintainability, and value engineering are incorporated into the project during all phases of planning, design, and construction.
Advise on design changes and their implementation.
Provide training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve design quality.
