Interface Manager - Qatar Rail

This is a technical position to provide strong interface to Qatar Rail project with various government agencies and stakeholders by maintaining close interaction and liaison to ensure that quality deliverables are produced smoothly, within time and budget.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Liaises with government agencies, third parties and clients to ensure all project objectives have been met.
• Monitoring, directing, and tracking projects to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
• Interacts closely with project stakeholders; various affected agencies, communities, local, state, and federal governments, to build consensus on project delivery objectives.
• Organizes effective public outreach sessions to involve communities and to inform them of on-going projects and up-coming projects, as well as obtain feedback and support.
• Makes effective oral presentations to elected officials and stakeholders on specific project issues and on the delivery of long range transportation products.
• Acts as a technical lead in the planning, design, construction and management of major capital projects associated with transportation, and transportation facilities (Major Highways, Rail Lines, Stations, Park-n-Ride facilities, Operation Control Centers, Maintenance Facilities/Train Depot Facilities, etc.) to deliver a high standard of quality of products and services.
• Develops, monitors and reviews Project Management Plans (PMP’s) and prepares comprehensive reports and correspondence
