About Your Job:
As Manager Global Corporate Account you will be responsible for formulating objectives, implementing strategy and driving global corporate performance within your assigned portfolio. You will represent Qatar Airways corporate segment across the network taking the lead with existing and new business clients defined as global/multinational in performance or potential. Developing new relationships and building on existing ones, you will be accountable for the growth and development of the corporate relationships assigned to you. A high degree of account planning is required to ensure that a clear roadmap is in place to support profitable revenue growth. The ability to effectively communicate, coordinate and lead your approach with the local and regional sales teams is paramount to your success.
In addition to owning key global client relationships, your role will also be as an advocate for a predefined region within the Qatar Airways network. Providing leadership through example, ensuring that the right support structure, standards, processes and tools are in place to encourage corporate sales.
About You:
You will be a self starter with a strategic, entrepreneurial approach, educated to degree level with at least 7 years proven track record in the travel industry, preferably in a senior airline or TMC sales/account management role. You must be articulate with the confidence and ability to present in detail to senior management both internally and externally. The ability to negotiate in additional/multiple languages beyond English would be a distinct benefit. Previous experience working with CRM system(s), PRISM, MIDT and Microsoft applications is required.
