Construction Manager

01. Carrying out the tasks identified by the Project Manager. Preparation of Method statement for various activities prescribed in the PQP. Ensuring that the Method Statement implemented at the site.
02. Complying with all Company Policies, Quality Procedures, Statutory Regulations and Project Specifications.
03. Provide day to day management of the overall construction function and team of engineering, sub-Contractor, staff and technical consultants to ensure contractual schedules and financial commitments are met.
04. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion (budgeted time and meet deadline)
05. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
06. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
07. Support coordination of interfaces between design groups and ensure design supports construction
08. Ensuring that the quality of material and installation of work is in accordance with the acceptance criteria identified for the project.
09. Ensuring that the work is completed in accordance with the specified Quality Management and Control system and in a safe manner.
10. Issuance instructions to the Project Engineers and Site Engineers to complete the work in accordance with Project Planning and Schedules and allocating resources.
11. Monitoring all Sub-contractors work closely to ensure that the Quality of the work is as per specification and is completed on time.
12. Review of short-term planning and advising the Project Manager on any problems.
13. Material and equipment management.
14. Review of Method Statements
15. Prepare internal and external reports and interface with Project Controls pertaining to job status
16. Monitoring and compiling relevant information on production rates.
17. Conducting daily meetings with site staff to organize work for the day/next day.
18. Conduct Method Statement of ITP training.
