Workshop Manager - Al Qamra Holding Group

• Works as the person In-Charge of the Workshop
• Works closely with the Transportation Manager and the different functions of the Head Office such as Finance Department and Human Resource Department
• Manages the Workshop Personnel including drivers, Supervisors and Technicians
• Implements and maintains the Fleet Management System for the Workshop
• Analyzes current procedures and activities in identifying and presenting opportunities for improvement of the workshop
• Ensure that the workshop is adequately staffed to achieve objectives, and that technicians are aware of procedures for operating transport vehicles
• Conducts orientation of personnel with work surroundings, work hours, employee schedule, procedures, use of transport vehicles and equipment, and job expectations
• Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in the workshop
• Facilitate the training and development of team members in the department, by providing feedback and coaching to support improvements in their job performance.
• Conducts Performance Evaluation for Workshop Personnel

• Evaluate the impact of work delays, interruptions or changes in plans to develop appropriate course of actions
• Monitor workflow to anticipate impact of delays due to team members being absent for leaves, holidays or sickness.
• Review and inspect the quality of a technician repairs and vehicle condition before deployment and during the Operations
• Plan and prepare annual budget for the department and facilities, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
• Maintain communication with GM headquarters to obtain security information, report unusual concerns and share new ideas that may contribute to improved Workshop operations
