(DOMASCO), an overseas joint venture of the reputable UAE-based Al Futtaim Group, has been operating business in Qatar for 15 years and has sole distribution rights for Honda, Volvo cars and trucks, reputed brands of watches and electronics such as Raymond Weil, Casio and Sanyo as well as Yanmar marine engines in the country.
About the Job:
We are currently seeking a Driver to join the team in Qatar. The Driver will provide transport assistance to all DOMASCO employees specifically pertaining to mail distribution, banks transactions, car maintenance and upkeep, and other general and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities of the role will be:
Distribution of mails
* Responsible for timely collection and distribution of all internal & external mails addressed to all employees and relevant properties.
* Ensure timely delivery of bank documentations, cheques and other relevant documents.
* Ensure timely delivery of documents, letters, etc, to other Group offices.
Car Maintenance & Upkeep
* Responsible for ensuring the company-issued vehicle is in proper & good condition by making sure the car is sent on regular maintenance service per the company standards.
* Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the company-issued vehicle.
* Responsible for timely renewal of the car registration including insurance, fuel card, etc.
* Responsible for ensuring fuel cost efficiency by proper planning and scheduling of tasks and routes.
Transport Assistance
* Provides transport assistance to caretakers, lifeguards and other employees in all properties as and when required.
General Assistance in Office Administration
* Assist in other administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, shredding or binding of business documents as and when required.
Ad-hoc administrative tasks
* Provide support and assistance to the department in any administrative and coordination tasks as and when required
