• Responsible for ensuring that fit for construction drawings produced by the project team are clear, effective, and in accordance with the project specifications and design criteria.
• Provide progress reports to the Senior Project Architects.
• Dissemination of work, managing the progress and workload of the team.
• Perform complex drafting assignments utilizing computer aided design [CAD] and drafting software. You will be expected to provide general arrangement drawings, sections, elevations, details and construction documents for review and approval to external parties.
• Is able to provide all drawing documentation concerning architectural elements inclusive of architectural schedules, tiling pattern layouts and finishes.
• Assist the Lead CAD Technician with project and team administration duties, providing CAD -Specific updates and information required for project reports.
• Support the development of the CAD Team providing technical guidance, mentoring and regular feedback where required.
• Ensure CAD vendor management.
• Maintain CAD document archive and retrieval for project.
• Maintain CAD software inventory.
