Technical Officer - MILAHA

Key Roles & Responsibilities
•Coordinate with superintendent engineer for spare parts requested
•Coordinates with ship staff for repair jobs and spares required
•Contact service providers for ship repair jobs
•Contact equipment makers for regular and unforeseen repairs required
•Follow up with vendors for necessary stores/spares required
•Coordinate all repair squads including vessel engineering staff and sub contactors
Maintain ships documentation with regard to planned maintenance schedule
Liaise with outside contractors regarding maintenance of ship equipment where necessary
Follow up with third party inspection schedule
•Liaise with ship staff for revalidation of certificates in coordination with engineering superintendent
•Controlling spare parts purchasing from suppliers and dispatch to vessel
•Liaise with workshops and service providers for attending all repair works as per scope of job
•Update spare parts inventory with company store and vessel
