Dry Gas Seal Engineer responsible for day to day operations of Gas Seal Repair & testing jobs as well as to provide an exceptional level of Dry Gas Seals technical support to all customers in Qatar.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Strip and inspection (report writing), assembly (all parts of the process) of AT & XP DGS’s
• To perform tests of AT & XP DGS’s.
• Work with customers to witness inspection and testing of DGS
• Support the planning of test equipment requirements for planned tests
• Support the service team leader in the planning the day to day DGS service activities to meet monthly forecast.
• Liaise with various technical departments
• Attending emergency and pending service jobs.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of service orders.
• Ensure all activities fully comply with the local and company Health & Safety requirements.
• Understanding basic principles of warehousing and stock management.
• To support the internal and external trainings, John Crane employees and customers.
• Work closely with the internal sales and Service team to maintain good team work and working relationships.
