About Your Job:
Responsible for assisting the Safety Supervisors to implement and monitor compliance against safety procedures at the airside, as directed by the safety officer. Escorts and supervises contractors working airside and is responsible for operating the "Follow-Me" vehicle to ensure the safe movement of aircraft and vehicles.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
* College or high school education qualifications.
* At least 3 years experience in a capacity of ramp vehicle/equipment operator within the aviation industry
* Hold a radio operator's certificate and attended formal training on the use of radio telephony; has attended formal training on airside driving and airline/airport ramp safety training courses
* Good knowledge of the appropriate regulations and safety procedures for the airport and can understand and interpret ordinances, laws and operating procedures
* Equipment/vehicle driving skills. Possess a driver's license and or a Qatar Driver's License.
* Ability to courteously and tactfully communicate and relate with superiors, peers and other employees
