Authorities:
The planning director has overall planning authority over all running projects at hand for
Delivering a construction or maintenance projects from its conception to completion on
time as per specifications within budget and up to the client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• To put forward planning strategies to the Company top management.
• To Prepare and/or supervise individual project Master Plan (Programme) consisting of a schedule of activities, resources profiles or histograms (for cost, materials, labour and equipment’s), and s-curves.
• To Prepare all-project Master Plan (Programme) consisting of a schedule of activities,
• resources profiles or histograms (for cost, materials, labour and equipment’s), and scurves.
• To make various forecasting/projections based on available data.
• To conduct on-the-job training and orientation seminars to the project managers and site engineers in a manner to ensure an accurate implementation of the programmes regarding time management, methodology, and work sequence to be employed in a project
• To disseminate technical information to the project management staff to increase productivity and cost control
• To monitor all projects individually and/collectively by processing actual updated data reports submitted from individual project in order to compare the progress status to each respective Master Plan and/or all-project Master Plan (Programme).
• To develop Recovery Schedules and/or Revised Programme when necessary
• To merge all project resource requirements for leveling and prioritizing loading or distribution.
• To report directly to the Projects Director regarding project(s) status, analysis and recommend solution to problem areas.
• To represent the Company’s Planning Department on internal and external and audit meetings
• To be aware of all Company Policies, its objectives, working standards and undertakings.
• To carry out any task that is required by Management.
