• Reports directly to Shareholder, CEO and General Manager providing trust worthy and accountable feedback regarding all aspects of Social and Digital Media as and when necessary.
• Serve as the company primary contact during the launch of each campaign as well as serve as their trusted social and digital advisor to Head of Marketing and Communications.
• Develops strong global social media strategies and identifying clear parameters and obstacles for the company corporate identity in order to increase brand awareness in the local and GCC market by employing the appropriate digital platforms
• Review and present weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to the CEO and Head of Marketing with support as needed from recommended Research & Analytics agencies or reporting tools. Reports should track the brand’s key social KPI’s vs. pre-set benchmarks and against key competitors. Reports should be actionable, data driven suggestions to continuously improve the program to achieve the company business goals.
• Educate, manage and implement social media strategy execution at all levels of the team including the company sales agents, executives, online marketing team
• Assess and evaluate company current digital brand identity and impressions, recommend and employ the relevant tools for ad buying, monitoring, analysis, reporting as well as management and social media engagement on a daily basis
• HR - recruit appropriate Social Media executives to support inbound and outbound arm
• Optimize social media team structure with the correct skill set to achieve maximum results
• Optimize all platforms using Google Ad words, SEO and SEM techniques
• Hands-on management of all Social Media platforms
• Ensures consistency and translates content from Online editing team across all platforms
• Advise on tactical approaches to resisting digital competitor strategies example Qatar Airways Conduct and conduct competitor analysis of international and local market players in travel and tourism sector
• Identify buying or consumer trends and suggest creative applications to the Social Media Manager and Online Editor
• Review the company products success and challenges and strategically suggest and present solutions to increase visibility on the relevant digital platforms
• Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations;
• communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
• Digitally link and connect content from offline to online platforms including two magazines(Qatar Quest and Company) and main websites
• Training internal sales teams on new promotions or campaigns
• Evaluating the online success of online marketing campaigns
• Assessing company website and digital platforms
• Supporting the President CEO, Marketing and Communications Manager and the team
