Logistic Supervisor

Oversee product transportation in order to ensure timely delivery of the furniture and joinery work products to the customer or project site.
Coordinate with Projects & Factory Management team on delivery schedule for finished products.
Assign vehicles & drivers for the scheduled dlivery of the finished products.
Inspect the products for delivery / pick to properly estimate the needed vehicle, number of trips required & the time to load & off-load.
Plan & schedule drivers & vehicles for numerous requests for deliveries / transport.
Check with the Drivers during transportation / delivery to ensure delivery is on time; resolve issues within the utmost time to minimize delays in transport / delivery.

Oversee the regular transportation of employees from & to the factory & worksite to prevent disruptions in the factory / Project schedule.
Allocate drivers & vehicles for the regular transportation of employees from and to factory & worksite.
Resolve any issues in the course of the day; ensure that employees are picked & dropped off on time.
Provide additional schedules or vehicles for shifting employees in the project site.
Coordinate with the Project / Factory Head on schedules of employee pick up / drop off.

Oversee the proper utilization of resources assigned to the Section to minimize operational expenditures.
Properly plan for the allocation & scheduling of the drivers for the different transport requirements.
Monitor Driver schedules & time spent in transport; follow up with Drivers on delayed deliveries & returns.
Monitor gas & consumables used in transporting of products; implement pratices to decrease expenditures.
Process Insurance claims fro Vehicles accidents in order to obtain the funds necessary to repair the vehicle.
Plan, schedule & oversee regular maintenance of the vehicles to minimize potential vehicle breakdown resulting to delays in transportation services; oversee the urgent repair for breakdowns & accidents.
Oversee the timely renewal of vehicles'registration to prevent penalties & disruption i the transportation of products & employees.

Oversee that the Team's compliance to Safety & Health practices & standards to minimize & prevent loss of life, injuries or damage / loss to Division's assets & properties.
Ensure the Driver's compliance to Local Traffic Regulations; provide corrective actions for Drivers with reported aggressive driving / repetitive traffic violations.
Oversee that all vehicles are returned to the designated parking area & all are locked & secured.
Ensure thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards & corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of the assigned duties.

Lead & motivate the employees towards team solidarity & exemplary peformance in order to maximize prodcutivity & harmony.
Share knowledge & experience with the team(s) & provide feedback, guidance & assistance.
Provide inputs for staff appraisals to asses & improve employee's effectiveness in meeting current & future needs of team.
Identify training needs of staff & recommend appropriate training in order to improve performance standards.
