Our client is a leader in automotive sales focusing on international car brands. With an excellent reputation, they are now looking to expand their team in Qatar.
We are looking for an experienced National Sales Manager to be based in Doha, Qatar.
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
This position is responsible in leading a group to meet or exceed company goals for profitable growth. Develop and manage the implementation of the Group’s Sales Strategy in line with
Business plans, Sales forecasting & planning and is responsible for meeting or exceeding annual sales targets through market development and growth of channel and customer relationships.
Also heading the implementation of customer satisfaction in the showroom and provide high level market /competitive information contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Select, develop, and coach a professional sales team to meet or exceed specific goals for profitable revenue growth
• Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization.
• Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
• Create and implement effective direct sales strategies and lead nationwide direct sales personnel (sales and clinical education staff) toward achievement of corporate sales objectives
• Implement the company's sales process to establish a culture of consultative selling to customer's decision-makers at all levels.
• Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in large accounts.
• Pursue identified business prospects, participating actively in the planning and sales process for new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing resources and the sales leadership team to define overall sales strategy, and to develop products and solutions responsive to the customer's business. Apply research insights and to provide compelling advertising solutions based on the company's business strengths.
• Encourage and requires high level teaming and collaboration skills to gain the committed and motivated efforts of the company's staff who do not report directly to the National Sales
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers. Function as customer advocate and primary sales contact by complete follow-up from initial contact, quotes, demonstrations, negotiation and closing of deals.
• Provide sales management, budget control, compensation programs and incentive planning.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
• Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, etc.) to address key business issues and opportunities.
• Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.
• Demonstrate an ability to build executive relationships at major accounts
• Identify opportunities and challenges within account base and create strategies to maximize sell through, profit, revenue and market share
• Understand how to communicate value propositions to key accounts and be able to present and close new business
• Lead team to formulate a sales plan to achieve sales and profit targets for current and prospective accounts
• Develop and negotiate terms and conditions for accounts to effectively manage overall profitability at each assigned account
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 10 years in the same field
• Senior Sales experience
• An MBA or Bachelor’s degree in business marketing, economics or related field
• Media advertising sales experience is required
• Ability to understand and apply market intelligence
