Senior Associate - Manpower Middle East

A prestigious investment organization in Qatar is seeking Senior Associate. You will be directly reporting to the Director - Private Equity Job Objective Assist the Director - Private Equity in structuring, documenting, booking, monitoring and realize investment transactions on private equity in order to accomplish acceptable returns of investment in line with the company strategy and objectives.Provide continuous feedback on changes in investment trends taking account of market principles in order to propose recommendations for changes to investment policy.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Investment Strategy and Plan Propose recommendations for an investment strategy and plan with business growth objectives for growth and expansion which will support the Director in hisher decisions.Direction of Subordinates Implement the distribution of work to Analysts within the Private Equity team and ensure that all activities in the department are carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policy. Develop and motivate investment analysts in the provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to maximize the investment team performance.Policies and Procedures and Systems Participate in the drafting of policies, procedures and controls covering areas of Private Equity investment activities so that all relevant procedural legislative requirements are fulfilled. Implement work processes designed to enhance and speed up investment initiation, evaluation and decision-making.Source and Trade Opportunity Assist in the identification of sources for investment opportunities to enable the Director - Private Equity to source and filter out potential market opportunities of investment value.Due Diligence Conduct due diligence as directed by the Director - Private Equity in order to facilitate key decisions to be taken by upper management on investment deals. Prepare and review investment memos and due diligence memorandums in order to identify errors, risks and ensure proper mitigation of the same.Financial modeling Prepare and review financial models such as the cash flow for investments identified, in order to assess the financial feasibility of various investment modelling options and forward the same to the Director - Private Equity.Performance Reporting Review and contribute to performance reporting, analyzing reports and preparing memos to the Director - Private Equity on ways to improve efficiency and Rate of Returns on investments.Investment Analysis of Business Opportunities Based on a thorough research and study, provide in-depth analysis, establish programs and procedures for research and development, financial modelling and risk assessment of potential target investment opportunities to pursue further negotiations, evaluations and close investment deals. Prepare exit strategy analysis as well as tax implications with respect to every investment. Conduct investment valuations and identify key risk metrics in order to provide a clear picture of all possible implications to the Head of Private Investment.Record Maintenance Ensure that proper records and files and SharePoint databases for all investments are maintained and available when required.Market Knowledge Develop deep market knowledge through maintaining contacts with research agencies, partners, industry networks and financial institutions.Fund Management Evaluate the funds and portfolios in order to ensure optimal return on investment. Conduct site visit to fund managers offices for due diligence and to keep abreast of all changes and developments in relation to the fund managers that would affect the company investments.Continuous Improvement Assist the Director - Private Equity to keep abreast of best practices in the Investments field as well as international practice standards in order to incorporate high quality standards within the department.
