Aalaf Qatar is the main producer and distributor of animal feed in Qatar. The type of animals we cater to include poultry, cattle, sheep, camel and other local livestock
The incumbent of this role will be part of the Aalaf Qatar Sales & Marketing function and shall report to the Sales & Marketing Head, and will be primarily focused on acquiring, managing and growing medium/large customer accounts independently
• Work closely with Marketing to understand the market dynamics and define and execute strategies to develop business and focus on expanding/acquire medium/large accounts (large farms, livestock companies, large-scale dairy producers, etc.,)
• Proactively develop sales plans segmented by product, customers clearly committing to the volume of planned activities to achieve the desired sales and revenue, and review with the Sales & Marketing head for inputs and approval
• Be accountable for the execution of the sales plan, resulting in the increase in number of customer accounts as well as the volume of sales through those accounts
• Manage all key accounts with professional finesse with regular touchpoints at appropriate frequency and ensure smooth, positive and long-term relationship
• Collaborate effectively with internal supply chain contacts (procurement & logistics, finance, local production, etc.,) to ensure effective planning to fulfill execution of the sales plan
• Prepare and make demonstrations / presentations and sell the company products to existing and prospective customers
• Prepare action plans and schedules to provide visibility on the committed number of customer contacts to be made within specified durations
• Participate in and conduct various field activities to generate leads and referrals
• Proactively study leads and referrals to qualify them into prospects and plan appropriately to contact these prospects for potential sale
• Prepare presentations, proposals, sales/services/suppliers contracts; all types of paperwork as needed, including solid expertise in RFI/RFP sales processes
• Prepare a variety of status reports as needed including sales & marketing dashboards, field activities and customer accounts dashboard, etc.,
• Gather feedback/insights from time to time from customers and market sources to suggest improvements to processes, product deployments with internal stakeholders (mainly marketing)
• Establish and maintain a collaborative, positive and productive working relationship with all appropriate internal company stakeholders
• Develop and implement special sales activities as required for stock-reduction
