Aalaf Qatar is the main producer and distributor of animal feed in Qatar. The type of animals we cater to include poultry, cattle, sheep, camel and other local livestock
The incumbent of this role will be part of the Aalaf Qatar Sales & Marketing function and shall report to the Sales & Marketing Head, and will be primarily focused on acquiring, managing and growing medium/large customer accounts independently


• Work closely with Marketing to understand the market dynamics and define and execute strategies to develop business and focus on expanding/acquire medium/large accounts (large farms, livestock companies, large-scale dairy producers, etc.,)
• Proactively develop sales plans segmented by product, customers clearly committing to the volume of planned activities to achieve the desired sales and revenue, and review with the Sales & Marketing head for inputs and approval
• Be accountable for the execution of the sales plan, resulting in the increase in number of customer accounts as well as the volume of sales through those accounts
• Manage all key accounts with professional finesse with regular touchpoints at appropriate frequency and ensure smooth, positive and long-term relationship
• Collaborate effectively with internal supply chain contacts (procurement & logistics, finance, local production, etc.,) to ensure effective planning to fulfill execution of the sales plan
• Prepare and make demonstrations / presentations and sell the company products to existing and prospective customers
• Prepare action plans and schedules to provide visibility on the committed number of customer contacts to be made within specified durations
• Participate in and conduct various field activities to generate leads and referrals
• Proactively study leads and referrals to qualify them into prospects and plan appropriately to contact these prospects for potential sale
• Prepare presentations, proposals, sales/services/suppliers contracts; all types of paperwork as needed, including solid expertise in RFI/RFP sales processes
• Prepare a variety of status reports as needed including sales & marketing dashboards, field activities and customer accounts dashboard, etc.,
• Gather feedback/insights from time to time from customers and market sources to suggest improvements to processes, product deployments with internal stakeholders (mainly marketing)
• Establish and maintain a collaborative, positive and productive working relationship with all appropriate internal company stakeholders
• Develop and implement special sales activities as required for stock-reduction

Qatfa (Qatar Farms) is a key producer and distributor of vegetables in Qatar, and is a subsidiary of Hassad Food, Qatar’s premium investor in food sector.
The incumbent of this role will be part of the agriculture unit of the company whose primary purpose is to manage all end-to-end operations in the farms with a view of increasing productivity


1. Overall Farm Management and Productivity:
a. Responsible for managing the entire agricultural operations starting from Planning to Preparation, Seeding, Growing, Harvesting, Grading, Packing, Sales, Transportation and Maintenance (of all farm equipment and infrastructure)
b. Accountable for the production of crops at all company-owned farms as per determined production targets
c. Review and propose optimum manpower and resources deployment and new farming methods and techniques to increase productivity as applicable.
d. Maintain working relationships and coordination with all internal and external stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, etc., as required.
2. Farm Operations, Maintenance, Labour Management, Housekeeping of Assets:
a. Provide leadership to the various reporting roles involved in the farm production and maintenance motivating them to produce consistent performance results
b. Inspire workforce by effectively incorporating the ‘Global GAP’ best practices in farming operations to derive optimum produce
c. Adopt economical and sustainable farming practices that fully comply with environmental and ecological standards and regulations.
d. Follow all company policies and procedures and ensure full compliance with all rules and regulations.
3. Meeting Management Objectives and Annual Targets:
a. Participate in meetings/discussions with senior management, understand the company ‘vison’ and prepare and set annual production plans and targets.
b. Periodically review production results, resources availability, production capability, etc., and propose more optimized agricultural strategies with a view of deriving maximum productivity value out of efficient use of available resources.
c. Submit regular management reports on all key activities and performance indicators
d. Ensure that agreed production and financial targets are met and that the farms are operated as profitable commercial enterprises

    •  Build and cultivate prospect relationships, understand needs of employers regarding current vacancies and generate leads by initiating strategic and targeted communications with SMEs 

    • Conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel to meet monthly targets of qualified accounts 

    • Manage lead generation through CRM for Qatar.

    • Understanding needs of employers regarding the vacancies they have 

    • Clearly articulate business value to the customer and provide prompt and concise answers and quotes on product related enquiries, 

    • Handle client complaints, investigate source of complaint and assist in finding the best solutions for client.

    • Enable cohesive integration of new leads into the CRM and maintaining and updating the database.

    • Work with the Business Development team and Relationship Managers to maximize lead to opportunity conversion, set up meetings and pass on relevant information

    • Bring new lead generation ideas and helping to refine sales messaging, prospecting, and qualifying by performing ad hoc market analysis and maintaining awareness of competitor services
