Department:

As a Senior Cargo Sales Agent, you will provide maximum support to the sales force in order to achieve revenue targets. Secure proper operational and customer service support to enable the station to meet the cargo targets. You will help identify needs and improve cargo sales, service and operational performance for station. You will be expected to provide daily reports on Loads, Advanced booking profiles,

Route performances to the sales force. You will maintain regular contacts within the local Cargo industry to obtain local and regional insight. You will be involved with staying on top of local Government Regulations relevant to the respective station to ensure smooth cargo operations.

Person:

You must ideally have a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Sales/Marketing. A Trade or Vocational qualification is essential. Your MS Office Skills must be at an advanced level. You will have a minimum 3 years in the Cargo / Air Freight Industry, out of which 1 year in a similar capacity. You must have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and currently be legally eligible to live and work in India.

You should have knowledge of IATA/TACT regulations and knowledge in Cargo sales will be an added advantage.

About Your Job:

In this role, you will lead the team in HR Business Support in activities including organisational design, insights, strategy and solution development, organisational development, resourcing and talent planning, learning and talent development, performance and reward, employee engagement, employee relations, service delivery and information. You will embed the HR Business Support function and the business partner model within the Subsidiaries businesses. You will lead the team to deliver a service that is fully aligned to the needs of the business and encourage adopting a solution focused approach.

You will review and further develop the service provided to the organisation by the team engaging with and building positive relationships with the business to ensure that their requirements are at the centre of the design and delivery of services. You will innovate and challenge established methods to secure continuous improvements. You will plan and organise the team to enable the achievement of key objectives and key performance indicators ensuring that resources are targeted on the businesses priorities and meeting customer needs.

The position reports to the Vice President for HR Business Support.

 

About You:

You must have a Bachelor's degree with 10 years of job-related experience. You must have operational exposure to range of HR and general business disciplines and be able to develop strategic initiatives as well as implementing processes and operational solutions.

You must have effective team management and leadership with excellent understanding of best practice HR management theories. You must have the ability to lead and deliver quality HR generalist support at a strategic level. You must be business oriented, have good understanding of business requirements and be used to working in a fast paced working environment.

You will have excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels within the organisation. Actively interested in what's going on with a questioning attitude and willingness to learn. We need you to have strong influencing skills, strong leadership ability and innovative mind set. You must be able to engage, inspire and influence people as well as being able to drive solutions whenever required. Strong analytical abilities, excellent facilitation skills and strong project management skills are an important requirement of the role.

About the Job:

Reporting to the Cargo Manager at Damman station in Saudi Arabia, you need provide cargo operational functions including interaction with GHA for both import and export cargo.  You will also secure proper operational support to enable the station to meet the cargo target and identify needs and improve cargo service and operational performance for the station.

You will be coordinating with Space control & GHA thus fulfilling our commitments to the customers thereby maximising the revenue for airline. You will be required to monitor Cargo / Mail / courier activities to ensure smooth handling and onward connections. You will also plan and ensure the ramp transfer cargo are loaded and connected for onward flights with relevant documents by coordinating with GHA and update Cargo system with correct information.

About You:

You will need to hold a Diploma or Associate Degree or equivalent and have a minimum of 3 years experience in Cargo industry out of which 2 years must be in airport/warehouse handling area.  Previous experience and knowledge in Cargo and Airlines is desired.

You will need to be computer literate having a good command in English and should be able to work with minimum staff under high work pressure and shift duties. You should also be able to work in adverse climatic conditions in the ramp and warehouse and should be able to lead, adjust and work with team members and make decisions.

Please note:  You will need to hold a valid working visa to be able to live and work in Saudi Arabia.
