Senior User Experience Designer - Arabic Speaking - AL JAZEERA NETWORK

The Manager of the UI/UX studio will lead a team of designers as well as initiative stakeholders to build a cohesive user experience across all product lines, and play a key role in the development and early-stage support of visual style for new initiatives within the Al Jazeera Digital network.
 
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ownership and leadership of all UX, visualisation, and interaction roadmaps across all Al Jazeera Digital products
- Ownership of development of visual style and identity for new initiatives within the AJMN Digital network
- Lead, manage, and inspire a strong team of Researchers, UX Architects, Designers, and Visualization Developer
- Assist Creative team in aligning output to the product
- Champion Usability and A/B testing
Champion user-experience research and ensure target user motivation and requirements are adequately captured and catered for
- Champion a UX and design development culture; adopt and enforce an agile design development approach
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to turn requirements and designs into real working products
- Develop and enforce UX policy and standards across Digital to maximize the end-user experience
- Ownership of UX flows and patterns, UX research, and usability testing
- Build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and lead formal experience design initiatives across the company
- Work closely with the Creative teams on continuous design iterations
- Mentor and advise on UX architecture, IA, and relevant information flows
