Sales Manager - Paints (GCC & MENA Region) - Al Babtain Group

Job Purpose:


Implement the sales department strategy for sales section movement through generating the sales territories, focusing on customer’s preferences & seeking for new customers’ acquisition, focusing on sales opportunities for improvement & following up cash collection, that will be reflect positively on achieving the department sales & profit objectives.


Responsibilities:


1) Formulate the annual sales plan including all expenditures, discuss with direct manager for final approval or more adjustment as per further business directions.



2) Plan and implement product stock levels to ensure product availability in coordination with production department. Monitor the sales trend frequently to overview the progress & what action should be taken for progress & work obstacles avoid.



3) Control the discount rates for all decorative paints products to match the approved schedule.



4) Keep control the section operational cost comparing within the budgeted plan.



5) Participate in selling the paints to concerned customers, and ensure of delivering their proper inquires at good quality standard & upon time request.



6) Handle the customer complains in professional manners to gain their retention & maintain good relationship.



7) Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts& most decorative paint items sold.



8) Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.



9) Make periodical visits to our customers and understand their feature demand and ensure that our product is marketed well.



10) Monitor the sales executives’ performance, coach & motivate to sharpen their skills for meeting the business inquires.


11) Confer or consult with general manager to plan advertising services and secure information on products and customer specifications. 


12) Follow up sales collection as per schedule on monthly basis with all sales executives.



13) Monitor the competitor market business flow, and compare to find out what to improve.
