About Job::
In this role, you will be creating rosters for pilots and cabin crew using specialised optimisation systems, and ensure all other roster-related activities are performed within deadlines. The Officer Crew Rostering will ensure QCAA regulations and requirements are complied with. Compliance with company policies and procedures, and instructions from department management.
Additionally, build various roster scenarios to determine "best" solution within given parameters for the current roster planning period. You will ensure roster production cycle is followed. Use Jeppesen Carmen Crew Rostering (CCR) system to achieve greatest balance of KPI's within utilisation targets. You will build crew stand-by blocks for each crew workgroup. Process all roster pre-assignments (except leave and training) prior to building rosters. Additionally, ensure timely receipt of all required roster information (including information from within the Crew Resources team) and notify SOCR if information is not received within expected period. You will make/confirm bookings for all crew hotel rooms, ground transport and positioning bookings
About You::
To be successful in this role. you will have a minimum education a relevant tertiary qualification. You must have a minimum 3 years of experience in a crew resource related role. Knowledge of regulatory requirements (esp Flight Time Limitations) is desirable.
Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office. Understanding of crew resource planning processes, theories, and methodologies. Preferred detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements related to crew records. Very high level attention to detail and methodical approach to work. Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. English communication skills.
