About Your Job:

As HR Business Partner, you will work with a specific business area as an internal consultant partnering with Executive Leadership and supporting Line Managers. You will provide an expert HR perspective to your internal client and focus on strategic involvement and improvements of organisational productivity and quality. You will coach and prompt business managers to think strategically, think about the impact of changes on the organization and how to make use of people to achieve success.

You will ensure that the organisation is appropriately designed to deliver objectives in the short and long-term and provide insight and guidance on development and execution of any capability, cultural and change activities. You will contribute to the business strategy by helping identify, prioritize and build company capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes and support line management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the department and business strategy.

This role will support the Qatar Duty Free business unit, a subsidiary of Qatar Airways.

About You:

You must have a Bachelor's degree with 7 to 10 years of job-related experience. Minimum of 3 years experience in HR Business Partner responsibilities is preferred. You must have exposure to a range of HR and general business disciplines and be able to develop strategic initiatives as well as implement processes and operational solutions.

It will be an advantage if you have previous experience working in the same type of industry, specifically from Retail,  Food and Beverage and Airline. You must have the exposure in handling different operational issues and be used to dealing with large numbers of employees.  You must be business oriented, have a good understanding of business requirements and be used to working in a fast paced, customer facing environment.

You will have excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels within the organisation. Actively interested in what's going on with a questioning attitude and willingness to learn. We need you to have strong influencing skills, strong leadership ability and an innovative mind set. You must be able to engage, inspire and influence people as well as being able to drive solutions whenever required. Strong analytical abilities, excellent facilitation skills and strong project management skills are important requirements of the role.
