Group Purchasing Manager

1. Responsible for managing all group purchasing activities to ensure that all materials and services are provided on time, at the correct quantity, quality with the reasonable costs.

2. Develop and review purchase requests and ensure authorization as necessary to facilitate the timely purchase of new products and services.

3. Responsible for implementing procurement strategies and policies.
4. Responsible for price negotiation, planning, inventory control and quality control.
5. Dealing with internal clients, external clients and suppliers.
6. Co-operating in import, export formalities to ensure that contractual terms & conditions with the relevant governmental regulations and are profitable for the company.
7. Analyzing and evaluating the potential capability of suppliers to enhance the supplying services.
8. Monitoring the purchasing policy and procedure to ensure these policies and procedures are adhered to or updated whenever necessary to protect the profit of the company.
9. Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier.
10. Responsible for discussing the defective or unacceptable new goods or services with users, vendors and others to determine the cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action
11. Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.
