BRAND MANAGER

Our client is a leader in automotive sales focusing on international car brands. With an excellent reputation, they are now looking to expand their team in Qatar.
We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager to be based in Doha with experience in Cars/ Used Cars or Motor Sports vehicles
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing efforts of the brand. Maintains brand integrity across product lines, advertising, and all other internal and external communication as it pertains to assigned brand and to oversee the development and execution of comprehensive communication programs in alignment of the strategies of assigned brands, as well as disciplined tracking of all associated expenses.
Reporting to: General Manager
• Brand Strategy - Develop and Manage Short term and Long term Brand Strategy for the brand, including brand positioning, brand value, market share, Brand and Market growth, etc.
• Market Insight - Develop and Manage marketing Metrics and support Consumer insights in tracking brand measures.
• Product portfolio Management - Develop Commercial strategy and track the performance of the brand in line with Brand Strategy
• Pricing -Manage price points across channels, customers aligning with overall company financial / pricing strategy.
• Financial Management - Develop / Manage / track financial performance measures such as Profitability, Stocking, Return on Investments etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understanding the manufacturers positioning of the brand and interpreting it in the context of Qatar market.
• Brand related activities including brand planning, brand positioning in all Marketing & Sales activities
• Conducts analysis and periodical reviews of the brand, competitive, category, customer and consumer trends to enhance the brand’s equity and marketplace performance
• Create and execute the brand strategies and marketing plans for the brands, including managing both the existing product portfolio and new product launches.
• Analyzes and provides consumer, category, and brand information to support channel marketing and sales in category management and sales presentations.
• Drives consumer understanding and insights that defines our primes prospects’ needs, attitudes and values in order for consumers to have stronger and more impactful brand experiences.
• Works collaboratively with Consumer insights to recommend marketing metrics to track such as market Share, pricing and key brand metrics
• Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, editorial, marketing, design, and operations to execute specific marketing plans for each assigned title
• Collaborate with marketing communication and marketing agencies to develop an integrated marketing plan that achieves marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with media buying agency to develop media plan
• Develop product selling materials
• Responsible for developing plans and executing projects and initiatives that support the broader short and long term marketing strategy.
• Participates on a cross-functional team to develop new products following the process, including analyzing information to help set the sales forecast and financials and writing concept statements for consumer testing.
• Analyzes historical new product launches, and reports on vitality rates.
• Analyzes consumer trends and information, and categories to help identify product categories to enter as future sources of growth.
• Recommends the commercialization or “bring to market” plan including Launch Spending and market and trade positioning
• Collaborates with Cross-functional teams to determine the list price based on Pricing strategy and market appetite
• Develop and Identify impact of different price points of profitability
